About Long Lake Pines:

"LLP" was originally constructed in the late 1950’s well before there was an access road. The original camp (as cottages are called in Maine) was only one floor with a kitchen, dining/living area and bedroom. In the 1980’s the camp was expanded to two levels with the addition of a living room and basement.

We purchased the camp in 2006 from the original owners - still a true Maine camp, it had no insulation, no heat, very few finished walls and used the water directly from the lake. We wanted to keep the feel of the original camp but make it a little more comfortable and finished.

The camp now has a well for water that tastes fantastic, heat and insulation, a fireplace, walls finished in a knotty pine paneling and cedar bead-board ceilings.
